E-Cigarettes or Electronic cigarettes which are supposed to be a safer form of smoking                                                   compared to real cigarettes. They are safer because no smoke is produced, just water vapour.

Therefore most of the bad chemicals in the smoke, and the side effects of smoke inhilation

(bad coughs etc) are removed. 


What to remember about E-cigarettes

  • E-cigarettes still have nicotine in them.

  • Nicotine is very addictive, so if you try to stop you may have nicotine withdrawal symptoms (anxiety, irriatated easily and have difficulty concentrating).

  • The long-term effects of "Vaping" (smoking an e-cig) are unknown.

  • There are special worries over the mental and physical well-being of young people who are vaping.


The effects of "Vaping" (smoking an E-cig) are similar to that of a normal cigarette, such as relaxation and loss of apetite. However some side-effects of smoking occur also for e-cigarette smokers. 


Addiction of nicotine and the problems that come with nicotine addiction happen when people smoke E-cigarettes regularly. However because the E-cigarette is a very new thing, not enough research                                           has been done to see if it is truly safe or not.


Therefore many people have concerns about                                                long-term vaping, especially in young people.
